More screams from the trogs as your sun bolt blasted one of the trogs onto the ground, writhing in pain. The others didn't seem too perturbed however as they threw their javelins en mass once more. None managed to break through your cover though with all of the spears sticking out, it's doubtful that your barricades could withstand another barrage. And to make matters worse, the first wave ran out of spears, and then they began to charge, swarming your position. They roared and shouted as they where upon the party, four against you and Pylia, and another four against Shortfang and Buddy.

Upon seeing the trogs overrun his position, Shortfang dropped his crossbow and took out his shortsword, piercing one trog in the knee before stabbing the crossbow bolt in his hand into the trog's ribcage, breaking it in half while it was still in the trog. Buddy took a swing at one of the trogs who leapt back to avoid the attack, but took the opportunity to plunge the spiked end of his urgrosh into the back of the trog that Shortfang was fighting, slaying it. Meanwhile Pylia got back onto her feet and spoke a word of prayer as her eyes lite up once more and blinded some of the trogs with radiant light, causing a few to even start burning from the brightness. However things weren't looking any better as more trogs just arrived, pulling javelins out from their bags and getting ready to throw. It didn't seem to concern them that their own warriors were in the melee; if you don't act now, a lot of attacks were going to head in your direction.
