Get out from there right now!” Claire’s voice rang out from behind the cafeteria counter, uncharacteristically harsh from her typically warm nature. “What on earth do you think you’re doing, Liam?!” Her voice drew the attention of a guard from across the room who, upon hearing Liam’s name, groaned externally and slowly made his way towards the back, speaking into a walkie talkie in the meantime. This, obviously, was nothing new to Spring Hill. Liam’s purple hair popped up a few feet behind the counter, both hands up and a cocky grin on his face. “Oh come on, I just wanted some extra sweets for breakfast,” he declared, his own voice echoing through the eating area. “I’m a growing man after all.” “Like hell you are! Out!” As if on cue, the guard stepped up behind Liam, placing a firm grip on his arm. “Come on. You know the drill. Let’s not make this any more difficult than it has to be.” “Oh come on, George. E nel passato! Can’t you just let me go this time?” In reply, George pulled Liam out from behind the counter and started heading for the entrance of the cafeteria. “No, wait! I’m being kidnapped! Help!” Liam yelled out to the entire cafeteria, throwing his head back in half-hearted resistance. He did not pull. He did not fight. He just called out in defiance. “Help me,” he mouthed to the lone female at a table - Anahita, if he remembered correctly - as his eyes danced with a devilish delight. He was enjoying this, that much was for sure. But alas, it never worked. Liam, as with every Friday morning, was escorted out of the cafeteria and brought face to face with the head guard. “Well, hello there, Mr. Puck. Fine morning, isn’t it?” “Easy way or hard way?” Liam sighed, the excitement slowly draining from him. “You’re such a spoil sport, Charles.” “I’ll ask one more time. Easy way or hard way?” “Easy way, easy way! Geez.” “Then you know the routine. This is your only warning today. You may go.” And in that instant, everything was over. He was released as Charles and George went off to their own errands, leaving Liam to return to the cafeteria alone. As he reentered, it was obvious that he was bored. Very, very bored.[/center]
