It holds a strict adherence to black-and-white morality and no hesitance to reign Old Testament-style judgement down upon those it deems as sinners. Overwhelming brute force is its answer to any problem, and this leaves an indifference for the welfare of any innocent bystanders in the way. Zarathos borders on being a religious zealot and is outright hostile to any attempt to debase the Judeo-Abrahamic faith. Along with more of its immutable, rigid personality, leaves it less than a team player in any situation.
Civilian Personality
Solomon's personality is strongly introverted, and this may shut him off from the intimacy he yearns for. He's eager to explore the worlds out in nature, but fears understanding the people he might encounter on his path. Being immobilized by fear when he seeks to initiate a relationship. For someone of his...cirumstances, being homeless is more a convenience than anything, especially when he learns all the best secluded spots in a dense, urban city. So he retreats from the challenge of reaching out, and withdraws, isolating himself in his private world instead. Solitude need not equate with loneliness, but it may, and often does. He doesn't know how to ask for companionship, so he feels helpless in his isolation.
Civilian Occupation
Currently inbetween jobs as a freelancer on the road. [*][s]Embodiment of Justice[/s] Devourer of Sin: Zarathos can manipulate the immoral act known as sin by either percieving the sorts of sins the individual has committed in the rest of their life or remove/absorb any sort of sin from the individual. [*]Soul Conflagration: Zarathos possesses the ability to generate, control and project an ethereal and supernatural flame that burns the soul of a person and can also be used to burn their physical body. This flame is fuelled from the sin he devours and so can only burn only those who understand the concept of sin. Such was the Presence's nature that His aspects had names and identities of their own - the Archangels who then in turn beget angels of their own, forming what we know as the Abrahamic pantheon. But three seconds after their creation, a rebel band of angels led by the Morningstar attempted to wrest control  from the Presence. As punishment, they were cast away and had Fallen, forever exiled from His grace. In time, one of the Fallen named Zarathos, came to repent its rebellion, seeking forgiveness from the Presence; legend has it that it was the former Angel of Justice, Raguel. Zarathos came before and prostrated itself before the Presence, acknowledging its wrong-doing and responsibility for what it had done, offering its up to whatever punishment the Presence chose to impose. The Presence's judgment on Zarathos was that he would be cast down to Earth and be bound to human souls, His righteous wrath given form to punish and reap from those who commit sin. Accepting with regret, it had hoped that with a billion lifetimes of servitude it would be once again worthy to bask in His Presence. And so over millennia, there have been many who had been host to Zarathos, chosen from those who had met unjust deaths, and sought vengeance. Solomon Cahill was the son of Reverend Cahill, a fire and brimstone preacher that traveled all over the country. During his childhood, Solomon had been kidnapped by an underground satanist cult, his mother being murdered during the kidnapping. However it sadly did not stop with one murder, the cult having prepared and executed out a mass sacrifice that included all of Solomon’s father’s current congregation and including the Reverend himself. The satanists themselves were little more than pretenders to the demonic power that they claimed to possess but they had accidentally unleashed a real demon who had set upon them as soon as it was summoned out of whence it crept from. It was only through some freak accident that Solomon had managed to escape, but with no family to turn to and out of his depths, turned to living it out in the Australian Outback. For years, memories would come haunt him in nightmares, all the while being a lone hermit from a young age. His only human contact was an indigenous tribe who graciously taught him the ways of living in nature. But Solomon would once again see death when a bushfire, illegally started by industrialists who wanted to encroach into the tribe’s rightful land by driving them out, ravaged the plains they lived. After rescuing as many as he could, he met an all too unjust death as he was burned alive, being trapped by the flames. Upon his death, he found himself in a limbo-like state, where he encountered the Fallen, Zarathos who had been without a human host for the last century. The entity, after confessing it had been watching Solomon ever since he was first kidnapped by the cult, offered him the chance to seek avenge all those innocents lives taken too early and more, make it so no one else would have to experience what he had. Solomon returned to the world of the living, where he exacted vengeance on the industrialists who had started the fire. And has ever since, been wandering the face of the Earth, enacting His righteous wrath and reaping the sins of those deserving.
