I made a post. It has plenty more detail than before. I did not make it on a doc, but I reviewed it a few times and made edits and changes. Took me... roughly 30-40 minutes to write. More detailed posts are coming in later. 

The Val'gasra hive Vi'lan is now moving to find NYUNDO in hopes of an alliance, while the newly appointed hive commander Shi'vas was attacking a neutral city in the Glasslands. It was there that the Val'gasra discovered guns (strange boxes), and realized that they are WAY too weak to fight the 'outsiders' (humans). So Shi'vas goes home and tells the Queen what happened, and now the Queens want to make their forces stronger by evolving them so they have a chance in taking over Africa.
