[indent]Theo Blanchard is a good looking young man with a chiselled jaw, wavy hair and deep soulful eyes framed by dark bags. He is of average height with a lean natural build. Thanks to the Goblin Serum his body has become unnaturally solid and strong, his skin somewhat cold to touch. Most of the time he dresses fairly elegantly, nice jeans, a button down and a nice jacket or sweater to compliment the ensemble.[/indent]

[indent]The Blanchard clan were what one would call a military dynasty; most if not all members of the family had some sort of tie to the armed forces. Robert Blanchard was serving his time under the legend that was Thunderbolt Ross when his wife Davina gave birth to their one and only child; Theo on Halloween Night. Davina, a scientist hated taking time off to have a baby and as such always held a certain resentment for her son, even though she did indeed love him. The work that Rob and Davina did often meant they moved around a lot and as such, Theo would best be described as an army brat.

Much of his youth was spent moving around the country. Theo struggled to ever really find friends, any friendships he did have came from his unique sense of humour but they often didn’t last long due to the family constantly moving which meant for quite a lonely and somewhat desperate childhood. Theo inherited much of his intelligence from his mother, often scoring exceedingly high on tests and developing a keen technical knowledge, however a fear of his intelligence scaring away potential friends meant Theo never really explored what his high IQ was capable of. When he was around fourteen, the Blanchards ended up moving to NYC as Davina got a job working for Oscorp to work on their latest project.

Theo found life in New York a little easier, he attended Midtown High and established a nice corp group of friends. He began to focus on athletics and found a talent for baseball which took up a lot of his free time and helped him find a place of structure and security which he had been so craving all of his life. He even found a brother figure in Normie Osborne, the son of his parents employer, Harry. With his father now retired from the army and working security and his mother deep in her experiments at Oscorp, Theo had his eye on college ball and a bright future until a fateful night one January. 

Whilst having a dinner with the Osborne’s at their apartment, a group of masked assailants invaded the home in search of something, what was never actually made clear. There was gunfire, blood and then eventually silence. Theo remembers pain, lots and lots of pain. He remembers being dragged into a room and being injected with something green. His skin burned, his muscles tightened and his senses were turned up to a thousand. The next thing he knew, he had a bloody baseball bat in hand and all that was left were bodies, including that of his parents. Overcome with remorse and guilt, Harry took Theo in and explained what the experimental goblin serum that now ran through the young man's veins actually was. He told tale of his and his own father’s past as the villainous Green Goblins. Knowing full well the inherent side effects of the Goblin Serum (ie possible psychosis), a need for structure and training was a must for young Theo and Harry agreed that the best place for the newly powered young man was Möbius Academy.

There was a dynasty the young Blanchard had to live up to which one though? Blanchard or Goblin?....[/indent]

[indent]Thanks to being injected with a new strain of the infamous Goblin Formula, Theo developed into an empowered human with several abilities. Presently; most of his physical abilities have been increased to superhuman levels, this includes strength, speed, endurance, dexterity and healing rate. Theo’s already significant intelligence and ability to learn has also been increased but this has come at the cost of some of his sanity, forcing the usual pleasant Theo to be quite volatile at times.

Unlike previous Goblins, Theo has developed a new power to manipulate the fear of others using what has come to be known as the lunatic laugh. When bursting into this violent fit of laughter, the Goblin releases a psionic blast that forces the opponent to feel fear and terror from within. Some have claimed to see hallucinations of their greatest fears which Theo has taken advantage of in battle simulations.

Without his powers, Theo is an athletic young man with skills in both engineering and baseball, both of which he has incorporated into his hero persona, using a bat to hit his pumpkin bombs at opponents.[/indent]
