Penelope had been sleeping peacefully when she suddenly felt something make the bed moving. Knowing it wasn't her, she slowly cracked her eyes open, rubbing one hand over them to focus on Crow besides her. For a moment, all the knight was able to register was his rapid breathing. It struck her that he must have woken up from a nightmare and she felt his hand grab her own. Frowning with worry, she gave his hand a small squeeze and sat up. The motion made her gaze flicker over to the window, were the weak light of the early morning was seeping in. With a slap of realization, her own heart began to race with panic. Not only had she fallen asleep, but it seems Crow had as well. It was morning and he had yet to return to his own room, meaning it was going to be difficult to sneak him out. Especially since the only clothes he had were the ones from the night before. While the main worry was someone catching him leaving her room, it certainly wouldn't help rumors if he was seen wandering back to his room in the same clothes. "Crow, are you alright? We really need to get you out of here." Penelope said with a nervous edge to her voice. While she was concerned about his state after suffering from another nightmare, she knew they had little time to waste. She was just glad he didn't seem to wake up screaming anymore. She rubbed her hand over his back, offering a quick bit of comfort before jumping out of the bed to gather up his clothing for him. "I should have been more careful about falling asleep... Maybe if we hurry we can still get you out of here before people start waking up." she said as she fumbled to toss the clothes over to him. With most of the castle getting drunk the night before, she clung onto the hope that he'd be able to sneak out without issue. Unfortunately not a second later, a knock came from the other side of the door.
