At first, Sylvia had been confident and stoic as they charged into battle. However, as they continued on, Sylvia found that finding the passage was easier said than done. She couldn't see a darn thing other than what was set aflame by the trogs and kobolds. She muttered to herself when she realized this, "Oh no..." While she was doing so, she tried staying close to the crocodile in order to stealth by and use it as cover. She was quietly panicking! If she couldn't see the passage, then how were they going to get there? However, that didn't work out as planned. The crocodile seemed to bring attention to her and her friends instead, and they started firing at her! She told her friends as she ducked, "Guys, I can't see anything! I need help finding the passage!" That's when Shortfang came in to help. She moved to investigate with him accompanying her, since he could see in the dark. Thanks to his help, she was able to find it. But before she could say anything a bolt was shot towards her! She closed her eyes, readying herself for the pain. However, it never came... When she opened her eyes, she gasped sharply. Shortfang had taken the shot for her...! "Shortfang...!" She was scared. Thankfully, it turned out that he was still standing, but the fact that they were still firing spurred her to act quickly. She called to her friends, "GUYS! THIS WAY! HURRY!" She then ran to the passage, and while she and her friends were running, the bolt managed to strike Buddy. It wasn't long before they reached the passage. While Pylia healed Buddy, and Buddy started repairing himself, Sylvia turned her attention to Shortfang. She spoke while catching her breath, "Holy shit, Shortfang! Are you okay?!" He took a bolt for her...! She felt guilty and grateful. As much as she wanted to thank Shortfang, as well as tell him to never do that kind of stunt again, she knew they had little to no time to rest. She hastily pulled out her last healing potion and handed it to Shortfang and she told him, "Here. Please, drink this!" After Shortfang got some needed healing, she called to her friends, "If you guys are ready, we should continue on,"
