Backstory: Shiro Gushiken had feared that he was to be the last of his line. While he and his wife, Mari, had been happily married for years, no children had graced their union. Mari's line was secure with a nephew who could inherit, but Shiro had been without siblings to help make sure the line could continue. Desperate for his line to not die with him, Shiro and Mari looked into potential human solutions for their troubles while delving into the genealogy for any other leads. Finally, a lead was discovered of a hunter who had been sent to another country on a mission and had never returned. Digging deeper, they found a possible relation in one Gwendolyn Alastrina O'Reilly, recently shuffled into foster care and unable to find a stable home. Shiro and Mari therefore discreetly left to see this possible long-lost "niece".

A meeting was arranged as potential adopters and the found quickly that she did show the signs of her heritage and that they were quickly growing fond of her. Wendy's caring, impulsive, perceptive, and passionate nature warmed their hearts everytime they could see it underneath her wary, calculating side, causing them to wonder what had happened to cause her to mask herself so. Wendy in turn was curious about why this couple were interested in her specifically. She knew that she was no one out of the ordinary and was approaching the age when few would adopt her, yet she did enjoy their company and hoped they weren't getting a false impression of her or giving her a false impression of what they were truly like. Soon enough, strings were pulled, protocols rushes through as quickly as possible, and the papers were filled out for her adoption. And Wendy found herself moving to a new country with her new parents, nervous and waiting for some other shoe to drop to explain the speed and work of everything gone through for her. What was expected of her in exchange for all of this?

Then Wendy finally found out about the heritage that was hers and she was ecstatic. She'd always wanted to be a superhero with powers, to live up to her middle name and defend mankind. Now she could have her wish and show her new parents that she was worth having around (not realizing that her new parents didn't need her to prove her worth to them, that they had committed to always loving her). And so with enthusiasm, she took on her vows and honed herself, ready for her first year at this new school and in the Hunter's Club.

Hunter Power: Light Manipulation

Techniques: 

	Flash: Creates a flash of light that blinds those in the nearby area

	Illusions: Create illusions from light of anything she can envision. The illusion will remain
		stationary unless she controls it to move.  Lasts until either she stops focusing her attention
		to keeping them up or someone strikes/disrupts them.

	Invisible: Can wrap light around herself or another object/person to be invisible to the naked
		eye. Can't see while fully invisible and can still be detected through heat vision.

Heirloom: A hand and a half longsword that allows her to control multiple illusions at once

Skill: She's a good mezzo-soprano singer. Also has good acrobatic skills

Limiter/Charm: Limiter: a bracelet with strands of white, yellow, and rose gold woven together on her wrist; Charm: a silver pendant engraved with a tree of life on a sterling silver chain worn around her neck
