Who’d just pulled her soul back from eternal rest. She also noticed that the fairy woman also looked like a corpse now and part of her felt saddened for whoever she had once been. It would be a kindness to put both of them to rest for good, but something made her pause. It was the whisper of a name from beside her and she turned to look at Bowyn. The pain on his face made Torvi realize that he knew this woman. More than just knew her, but she was important to cause that pain. This fact kept her from rushing at the woman. It was the dead female fairy’s voice that shocked Torvi. She could speak? Could Siri speak? Could she actually understand anything she would say? Her eyes fell back on her sister and her heart ached at the sight of her. She didn’t look as intelligent as the fairy woman. ”Siri?” She tried, watching for any reaction. None came and the disappointment she felt hurt. She wished she could speak with her sister once more, even if it were just to hear her voice. She closed her eyes for a brief second as she tried to get ahold of herself, rage beginning to fill her once more. She had a strong desire to avenge her sister, to kill the ones who even made raising the dead a possibility. It was the sound of the woman’s voice and Bowyn dropping to the ground that caused her eyes to open once more. She saw the woman forming knives out of ice and then she watched as Bowyn quickly got himself up. Boreas had also gone to distract her sister. Everything seemed to be happening rather quickly and before she knew it Bowyn was in front of her, telling her to run. This just fueled her more and she gripped her axe even tighter. ”No, I’m not leaving you behind Bowyn. We fight them together or we flee together, I won’t accept anything else.” She informed him as her sights were locked on Siri. She didn’t want to fight her sister, but she knew she had to put her to rest once more. She watched as her sister’s corpse swatted at Boreas with one hand, but the other hand was pulling out her own hand axe. She watched as Siri swiftly went to swipe at Boreas with the axe and she felt the need to protect the merlin. ”Siri, stop!” She shouted and the earth seemed to rumble along with her before a small column of earth shot up, grasping the wrist of Siri before yanking her back down to the ground. Torvi stared in shock at what had just happened and Siri let out a chilling, loud shriek as her attention turned back to Torvi. Adrenaline was rushing through Torvi and her senses seemed to be heightened, perhaps overly heightened. She could feel the vibrations in the earth and she could almost see in a way. Not far from them, somewhere behind them she could feel the running foot beats of an animal chasing another smaller animal. Perhaps a fox chasing a rabbit? She tried to focus on the sensation, feeling out further ahead of them. What she felt there scared her and she quickly lost control over the sensation. She tried to reach out again, but nothing happened. She gave up and focused on what was happening in front of her. Siri was still trying to get her arm free, shrieking still and Torvi decided she was distracted enough for the moment. ”Bowyn something is wrong, they aren’t the only two out here. There’s more, a LOT more. I’m so sorry, but I think we may need to go.” She warned him, genuine concern in her eyes as she hoped he would heed her words. She had a feeling he was rather distracted by the woman, however, and she briefly glanced to Boreas for some help.
