Due to the adrenaline and her giving everything her body had in order to run away from the monstrous skeleton dragon. At first, Ayita felt fear. Even though the fire was mostly gone with only the smell of smoke and burnt trees remaining, it was still vivid in her mind. It was the same as when her village was burned to the ground... Then, it was anger. Just like there were those responsible for burning her village, there was someone responsible for sending that undead dragon after them... Aklenroth. He was just like the ones back in her world... He wanted her and the other humans dead and the fire created by the undead dragon was just the catalyst she needed to turn her fear into anger and focus it into Aklenroth. With nothing but the will to survive and anger in her mind, Ayita didn't realize that she was using magic for the entire duration. Trees passed through her as nothing more but a blur. Focusing only on the path ahead of her, the world around her was just an indistinguishable blur. Everything that was either besides her or behind her didn't matter. The only thing that did was the path that she had right in front of her. After finally stopping running, it took a little while for Ayita to calm herself down and be able to hear and understand those around her. The stranger who had helped them, using some sort of magic, suggested for them to rest. Indeed, both her mind and her body were in need of a little rest. Still in a daze and recovering herself, Ayita was only able to hear parts of what the woman said. Fortunately, she did hear her name. She was called Sakura. "Ayita... Thanks for the help." she said, still with her muscles painfully tense, enough for Cade and Sakura to be able to see a few veins on her legs and thighs. "Did I...?" Ayita asked, after she heard Cade saying that she had used wind magic with an excited voice. "Sorry I... There was the fire, the undead dragon and... I'm sorry. My mind was just in another place." she said, giving a deep breath before recovering her composure. "Wind magic... I'm just as surprised as you are, Cade... I felt something strange as I started running. It is hard to describe... My steps got lighter and it became much easier to run. How can I say... It was a primal feeling, almost like an instinct. I still need to train and get used to this new power as I have no idea on what can I do with it yet... But I'm sure that this will help us to fight against Aklenroth." Ayita said, looking to herself, just as surprised as Cade was. Truth be told, she was happy. Even though her head was filled with many other thoughts and feelings, she wanted to feel how it was to use her magic again, to run as fast as she did. Deep down inside, she felt different. Not different as in 'powerful', but a strange connection to the wind. To feel it embracing her, hear it's whispers and run with it. It was an exhilarating feeling she never experienced before. "Sorry, right, introductions. I'm Ayita Ani' Wa'Ya. Thanks for your help back there, Sakura. Just as Cade said, we probably wouldn't be here if you didn't help us. Anyone who had the courage to help complete strangers, against an undead dragon nonetheless, surely is a welcome company. If you wish, that is." Ayita said, with a discreet nod of her head, once again thanking Sakura for her help.
