Lucien tried not to flinch as Faolan screamed at him, determined to stand his ground this time. He didn't want Faolan to think that he was afraid of him, that would not help his argument in wanting him to stay. As he spoke, he could see the anger and strength leave him, and as he fell to his knees, Lucien lowered himself to the ground, and went down to his level. From his words.. he could tell that there was more, that there was a deeper meaning to his worry. He at least knew that his greatest concern lied in hurting him, and he was determined to not let that happen again, but he didn't feel like Faolan would just accept his words. For a moment, Lucien reached out to hold Faolan's hand, but he stopped halfway, and pulled it back, feeling that it would be best to not touch him right now. "I know.. Faolan.. I knew that it wasn't you.. from the moment I looked into its eyes.." He said quietly, an attempt to reassure him. "I'm sorry that I wasn't careful enough, I swear it won't happen again, but please.. talk to me. I'll keep your secret, I swear it, just.. please help me understand you.. You don't have to deal with this alone."
