There is no plan, The Entity is just giving everyone a heads up as to the location of the next Monster emergence.  Basically it's just being nice by highlighting the general location with a light show only those magically inclined can see.  Your character might not realize what is giving off the signal but they would at least understand it isn't something natural.

In the end it doesn't matter too much if your characters arrive there before or not, but if they manage to get there first they could meet up with other fighters beforehand.  Could prove advantageous to get there before the monster shows up.

My next post will be the emergence of the monster and the destruction that follows, starting off the first in game fight.
