Nixon looked over at Kate, then looked at the town and give a small grin. "Well, I hope they've been running things well without me, and I'd like to know where they've been. Then, I'd like to have some food. Food would be awesome right now," he laughed. And blood, he thought. Or I'll probably die. Fatigue pressed hard on him now, and his bloodshot eyes were getting worse. He could drop dead soon, but hopefully he just faints instead, and he'll probably die in his sleep afterward. ------------------ Anthony sat up in the old hunter base where he had fallen asleep the night before. He gave a small yawn before standing up. The hunter grabbed his dagger on the floor then picked up the strange sword Kaori had given to him, putting it in a sheath on his right hip. The day before hadn't been too exciting. Wake up, eat something he found, talk with Eline for a bit, look at the strange CROATOAN markings, make several plans, investigate the old hunter base, and then fall asleep. It was what he had been doing the entire year. But finally the repeats were over, but to him it was just the next day. Outside of the hunter base, Anthony looked over at the center of town, finding a girl talking with Mason and Aaron near the CROATOAN sign. "Where's Nixon?" He wondered aloud quietly. The vampire had been gone for a day on the promise that he would be back soon, but it had been an entire day. Anthony probably needed to go look for the guy, even though he was insane the vampire kept the group together. Anthony knew he couldn't run it, being a hunter most of the supernatural would probably just kick him out or kill him. Anthony sighed and walked down the center road, looking around for Nixon. ------------------ Rand shook unsteadily, shivering from the cold. They had been using temperature mixes on him for the last several days. At some times Rand would think he was lit on fire, and on others the hunter was sure he was going to get frostbite. It wasn't terrifying, but the long unending hours of screams kept him up. One year of this and he still hadn't seen anyone, literally no one. Not even a single torturer, yet here he was lying on the ground freezing to death. Just kill me already... ----------------- Seven Perrin wrote down on his pad of paper. The guards in the complex were nice enough to give it to him ever since they cut out his tongue several months ago. I've rammed my head seven times against the wall and that's when it finally hurt. Since the initial count for insanity is twelve, I am only partially insane. The pencil's led broke off so Perrin grabbed his sharpener and scraped it to get more led out. This is what I get for trusting a supernatural, now it's been 33,421 days since I lost saw the hotel and 33,321 days since I met Hammond. I hate tricksters more than sirens now.
