[b]Backstory:[/b] Keiji was always a bit lacking in physical prowess, even with his hunter abilities. He was never the strongest or the fastest in any of his training with other family members. When it came time for him to take his oath, both of his hunter parents suggested that he decline. Even though he had decent control of his powers, they feared he was not cut out for battle. They promised he would always have a place in their family even if he didn’t pursue hunting.

It seemed as though Keiji reluctantly agreed. He knew that no matter how much he argued, they would never present him to the hunters to take the oath. However, when the hunters came to officially record his decision, he used the opportunity to recite the oath with a Tenha bearing witness to it before his parents could interject. It was an unorthodox way to go about taking the oath, but it was binding nonetheless. 

Needless to say, that night they were furious with him. When they asked him why he would do something like that, he replied calmly, “It’s the same with hunting youkai. If I can’t overpower them, I’ll just trick them.” And so, Keiji came to rely on his wits rather than brute strength to hunt youkai. He has survived thus far, and intends to prove his parents wrong. 

[b]Hunter Power:[/b] String Manipulation. Currently, Keiji is able to generate six strings, three controlled by each hand.

[b]Techniques:[/b]

[u]Lacerate[/u] – Keiji can make his strings razor sharp and use them to slash at his enemy. 

[u]Constrict[/u] – By wrapping his strings around his enemy, he can crush them or attempt to pull them in various directions. 

[u]Cat’s Cradle[/u] – Keiji criss-crosses the strings in front of him to create a small shield. 

[b]Heirloom:[/b] [u]The Spyblade[/u] – A seemingly ordinary dagger except for one feature… It has an eyeball. Keiji can look through the eye of this dagger. By sending his heirloom out at a distance with his strings and looking through the blade, he has become quite adept at recon work. 

[b]Skill:[/b] Keiji is a very talented artist. Even the idle doodles he makes in his notebooks look good enough to be manga panels. 

[b]Limiter/Charm:[/b] Keiji’s limiter is a watch that never tells the correct time. His charm is a pen cap that makes his dagger look like a fancy fountain pen.
