Your friend is being the underselling guy of the week. Seriously, as far as roleplaying standards go, that was a very interesting read and it was well put together. I think you're a pretty darn good writer, so stop being up on yourself, man. I'm hardly a literally savant myself and I have a lot of room to improve, so don't tell yourself that you're not good enough. You're just as good as everyone else in this little shindig, that's a Dervish Certification.
