Potential interest if life doesn't get in the way, but I do have a question about the dwarf star. Is there a story behind that? Like it was possibly sent on a collision course by some mysterious force? Or was it just pure happenstance? And as for technology, I assume there's some limit to it?

EDIT: Xenos in this are proper aliens right? Not just mutated remnants of the human sleeper fleet that were isolated for God knows how long before reestablishing contact?
