Shay can command the souls of those who have broken oaths in life. These souls are extremely powerful and hard to destroy, even for a child of Hades. He can also sense if someone has broken a oath , furthermore if someone breaks an oath he can make that person feel intense pain for a short period of time  as his father is also the god of punishment .
