Can you go into a little more detail here?  By emergency detachment, do you mean like a reinforcement effort that proved futile?  And stumble upon the last two survivors, as in our forces as we started our retreat away from the battle?  

I am all for a "gifted" mage, though I will need some weaknesses.  Write in your powers and we can discuss how those weaknesses will play out!  As for survivors, I will have some more information up here soon.  We will have some non-magically inclined soldiers as well as NPC's.  If you need that information, I can provide it!  I will hopefully have that information up tomorrow.
