Skills: Telepathy

The bar seemed a little out of place in the downtown core, what with the peeling sign and the front end looking run down and uncared for. Walking inside made the scene no better. An older crowd for the mid-day break and all in business casual but they seemed upstanding. It made Luna wonder what kind of crowd was drawn to a place like this later in the day. Obviously younger people came here but what drew them here. Perhaps it was just the simple karaoke machine they had up front but you could only go karaoking so many nights in a row, at least in Luna’s opinion. She followed Veil to the bar, looking at the selection of liquor they had on the back wall and weighed her options. Jack didn’t stick with them long and Luna watched him leave, spouting something about seeing an old acquaintance. ”Well that shouldn’t be unsettling,” Luna noted. The man was older, old enough to be Jack’s father but that’s all Luna bothered to notice about him at the moment. ”You know, you can tell a lot about a person by which alcohol they drink,” Luna pointed out. She watched Veil take a sip of her whiskey without grimacing and shook her head, smirking herself. ”Vodka cran,” she asked the bartender simply. She looked down the bar and back the other way. ”Is it always an older crowd?” As she asked the bartender a question she jumped into their mind. Having asked a question in regards to patrons, their mind should be going through people they had seen come and go through this place so she was hoping an image of the missing person would come up. No luck on that front though but Luna was just getting started and Jack seemed well on his way into conversation so maybe he would find out something sooner. Skills:

Cayden shrugged and nodded, all with a smile as Sapphire simply told him that she was driving. Whatever was easiest, he thought to himself. He bounced along beside everyone as they walked, just eager to stretch his legs a bit and get a change of pace. Not that things had exactly slowed down since he joined the Underground in Washington but Cayden liked to be active. He walked beside Waverley, listening to her voice her concerns and possible problems with relying solely on her power. ”Just try your best,” Cayden encouraged. She still seemed new into her power or at least new to using it in combat situations so it would take time to build up that confidence but it helped when other people had confidence and belief in a person. She had proven her skill well so far since being at the Underground. Cayden crawled into the back of the vehicle they were to take and strapped in accordingly. ”What’s the medication called again?” Cayden had heard Casper say it briefly but they were some intense words so Cayden couldn’t even remember what letter they started with let alone how to say them. Now that he was in the car, Cayden wasn’t as worried about security or trying to pass like they belonged there. It helped knowing that Sapphire didn’t seem to be worried about it either. He was curious who would end up needing to be the distraction and what would pose as a big enough distraction.
