She did not know too much about him, yet she hardly had needed to. He had been recruited by Shaw, the old Lord Imperial and Black King of the Hellfire Club. Her assessment that he had some brains to him, given that he turned on Shaw, was quickly found to be premature. "Yes, you do deserve something of equal value, don't you child?" Emma asked, her eyes flashing dangerously. She motioned at him with her finger and Jinx flew across the room, stopping a few feet in front of her. The force that moved him had centered itself around his throat and there was just enough pressure maintained there that it would be difficult for him to breathe. "In Rome, political opponents of Caesar would often commit suicide in order to avoid clementia - the pardoning of their sins... It was better to die than to be forgiven by Julius." "My gift to you is clementia," Emma explained, before there was an intense pressure in Jinx's mind. The telepath had done something to him, but he wouldn't know what it was. The telekinetic grip she had on his throat tightened and Emma's eyes darted over towards Anastasia, as she smiled slightly. "But make no mistake, Peter... The next time you challenge my authority, I will give you the underworld for your kingdom and a coffin for your throne." She then dropped him to the ground, releasing him from her grip. "Have a safe trip," she then said. The Three-in-One smirked slightly, before they walked in unison past Jinx and towards the elevator as well, stopping just a pace behind Anastasia. They were snickering amongst each other, clearly having some sort of telepathic gossip session - but at the very least they weren't glaring at Anastasia for having been selected over them at the moment. They needed to all more or less get along on this mission, after all. "I give him a week," Esme bet. "Six days," Sophie countered. "Five," Phoebe concluded. "What about you, Anastasia?" the three then asked in unison. Magneto's facial expression was largely obscured by the helmet on his face, yet some of the metal in the room had begun to rattle softly. "Yes, who knows," Magneto replied rhetorically, clenching his fist and Jinx's phone was crushed. Polaris was standing by with her arms crossed, impatient to get to the subject of Genosha - it was the entire reason she had come here, after all. The Shakespearean drama unfolding did not interest her greatly. His physique was no longer made out of metal - he instead looked like an ordinary man. An extremely buff and muscular and tall Russian man, but still an ordinary man at that. He hesitated for a moment, realizing that there was no one left behind to watch Magik. He wasn't about to let his little sister be left alone - that was just asking for someone to capture her again. Picking her up gently, Colossus cradled her in his arms. "Da, time to go." Vulcan wasn't going anywhere anyways. "You know, whenever someone says they'll come up with a plan on the way, that never really happens..." Ben pointed out. "You guys probably shouldn't improvise this." "Well unless you have any ideas, Ben, then we pretty much will probably just end up winging it," Casper admitted with a shrug. He didn't have much of an idea on how to improve Feedback's powers - her entire point about not being able to deal with landlines was going to be troublesome. Ben wasn't much help either, shrugging his shoulders in defeat. It was hard to keep up with technology when you had been dead for over a decade - things changed so quickly. "Call landlines and do not stop - jam lines," Colossus suggested to her. He followed Sapphire to the garage and climbed into the van that they on hand, gently lying Magik down in the back before he seated himself as well. It was a bit of a comical sight, especially since Colossus had to hunch his shoulders over in order to fit inside the vehicle. "Methadone and buprenorphine... And it's too bad we don't have green paint, you'd be a pretty convincing Hulk," Casper complimented Colossus, before climbing into the shotgun seat without even asking the Frosty Oprah if she was fine with that. "How are you at losing control and smashing everything you can see? Oh and do you have purple shorts? Those make or break the entire look, you know..." "Nyet." The Cherry Bomb... The bartender didn't check Leighton's I.D. at all, serving her up her Cosmo in record time with a smile. "Here ya go, miss. Anythin' else I can get for y'all?" "You know me well then Jacques," Essex said, looking over at Jack. "You seem more then a bit nervous, so why don't you have a seat, perhaps we can get a chance to chat considering it has been a while since we've talked. The two of us also have a lot more in common now than you know." "Bold of you to assume I'd pay the bill," Havok whispered into Callie's ear with a smirk. He wasn't dumb enough to just loudly announce to the employees here that he intended to stiff them. He sauntered on over to the bar, waving the other bartender on over to him. It luckily didn't take too long. "Two beers, a mess of nachos, and a coke," he ordered, leaning over the bar slightly and bracing himself with his elbows. "Oh and fries if you've got them?" The bartender nodded, distributing the food to Havok and Havok took the goods, carrying them over to the table that Callie had found. Sunshine had already taken a seat. Sure, she could be a bit of a bully but she wasn't dumb enough to draw attention to herself in places like these. She spent her entire life growing up on the streets and if mutants were going missing here, she sure as hell did not want to be next. Her powers were great, but they could be counteracted with something as simple as a flu shot at times. "These are nachos?" she asked, taking a chip and studying it for a moment, before she took a bite and her eyes widened slightly. "That's so good... Είναι το φαγητό των θεών..." Sunshine then took another bite quickly, enjoying the warm taste of the cheese in her mouth, even if it was entirely artificial. Havok chuckled. "You never had nachos before?" he asked, a bit surprised as he took a sip of his beer. He pulled his phone out, hoping to see a text from Lorna, but instead he had one from Spark Plug - warning him about the man that was sitting next to Jack. He frowned slightly, scratching his chin. There was something familiar about him but he couldn't put his finger on it. He shot back a quick reply in the group conversation - I've seen him before, no idea where. "Nope," Sunshine told Havok. She took another bite of the nachos, eating a little slower than she had been earlier but she was still managing to put the cheesy snack away rapidly. "...I've seen that man before, the one the Marshmallow's talking to," she then added, tensing up slightly. "He was at the trial." "...Think that's our guy?" Havok then whispered softly. Meanwhile, Veil brushed her hair back yet again, trying to keep the wild mane from getting into her eyes as she saw the text from Spark Plug. She didn't recognize the man and nothing about him seemed to be off to her - he likely was just someone that Jack knew and happened to bump into. Besides, they didn't need all of them surrounding the man. It would only tip off who was responsible for all of this that they were onto him. She did shoot back a quick reply - Don't crowd him. My gut's telling me he's not our guy. The bartender (not the one who served Leighton) shrugged. "Eh, usually in the afternoon and mornings yeah. The younger crowd's still doing their morning oxy," he answered Luna, before passing her a vodka cranberry. Veil then slipped her phone back away and finished off her drink. "You guys got a restroom?" she asked him, before he motioned towards the back of the bar. "Thanks," she replied, before heading that way.
