Scott

Scott glanced under the table where Miiba and the boy were still talking. “We... we don’t know… not exactly, anyway.” he lied. Looking around the room, he took in not his surroundings, but the people around him. Lear, he knew, and he assumed that the woman he was talking to was Mirabelle. That made the other man, the one who had… picked up a log to kill him with, he had to be Geir. But the other woman, the one who was standing in front of the youngest girl and holding a baby in her arms... who was she? He assumed that she was Lear’s wife, and that made these four children theirs. Why would they be here, where every creature in a hundred-mile radius (at least, that’s what it felt like) wanted to kill them? Scott supposed that’s what the wall was for. And they could probably handle themselves. But was it really worth the effort? Slipping away from Miiba’s side, he moved towards the woman. “E-excuse me.”
