Faolan felt a wild mix of emotion at Lucien's answer and following statements. Partially, he was upset to know that Lucien would stay with him despite the danger...the horror he had witnessed. Another facet of him was relieved to hear that Lucien had no intention of leaving. Despite his nearly twenty years of travelling on his own, Lucien's presence had won him over. In this moment, he honestly could not imagine what it might be like to be alone again after having a companion. The two had grown close in the short time they had been together, mostly because of Lucien's natural charm and persistence, not that Faolan had really tried to resist all that much. If this was true though, the two would have to move forward with a strict plan in mind for how they would approach the full moon and resulting shift. Although, Faolan wasn't quite ready to discuss that yet. For now, he simply nodded, and laid a hand on Lucien's shoulder. "Thank you," he said, making eye contact with the Frenchman once more, "You're a good friend..." It was all he could think to say. He let his gaze and his hand linger for a moment, then dropped them both and turned to the water once again. They had a long road ahead.
