Destruction. The words twirled in her head like a wind storm, the flashes of her childhood home burnt to nothing but various pieces of rubble and ash right before her eyes. When Risa had finally told Dionaea about her family she was worried, but it wasn't until she saw the true nature of the situation that she became gut wrenchingly sick. Her brother's bodies lay there in the wreckage, they were burnt but recognizable. The two friends embraced and cried, they had both lost so much in such a little amount of time. Dia dug her fingers into the dirt, searching for anything of sentiment and came back with nothing, "It's all gone..." she sobbed, streaking her cheeks with murky gray tears. With much hesitation, the young fairy was eventually taken away from the scene- dirt and flesh still filling every nail bed. Roshmi was their next destination, and although hope did seem loss Dionaea was thankful to be surrounded by people that loved and cared about her, as well as new found friend in The Sweet One- or as she now called Elsea. As the group found out more about the woman, they became more intertwined- sharing stories of their past as well as dreams for their futures. The group practiced their fighting as the journey progressed, and even after arriving they continued to work on their craft as well as the less studied ones. "My brother Cypress was excellent at this.." she said, her upper lip quivering as she held back tears. She was on the brink of breaking down several times during the days there, but tried to keep her chin up around her friends.
Laying in bed, a small recluse spider wove a small web between the young fairy's spread fingers. "You're quite the artist Daisy, I'm thankful we found one another again." she whispered as not to disturb her roomate; Elsea. They had been sleeping in a room in Kyran's parents house for a few days now, and just recently she was feeling more upbeat. [sub]"Pleasantly surprised?"[/sub] The small spider's voice was alluring, almost as if she wanted you to lean just a bit closer. Dionaea nodded as she watched the spider trickle her way around the digits. It was comforting, a piece of home that she could always take with her. Raising up from a lying position, the young fairy let the blanket fall gently to her lap exposing her nightgown as she reached over to the bedside table and let the spider hop off. The young girl started to pick off the pieces of web as Kyran burst into the room exclaiming that they need to wake up, and now! Pulling the blanket up over her chest, Dionaea's mouth parted in shock. To the left of her Elsea had been taken from slumber in the most unpleasant way, and if looks could kill Kyran would have dropped dead that moment. Dionaea watched as Elsea got out of bed, inching closer to Kyran. Dia wondered if she should intervene in that moment but knew it was for the best to not. Elsea placed her hand over Kyran's mouth directly and the young fairy couldn't help but huff in a stifled laugh as she told him to shut up. Her eyes pandered over Elsea as she dressed herself- she was right though, Hades would never let anything bad happen to Risa- and even if, Risa wasn't completely helpless. Reckless, sure- but not helpless. Dionaea climbed out of bed quickly to dress herself and put on her disguise to blend in with the people and to hide her own identity. "Elsea IS right you know. It's kind of like when you plant something, you can't have them too close or they all won't grow, but if you spread them out just a bit they will blossom." she smiled faintly, as Risa showed herself to the group with nothing but smiles and cheer. Before anyone could even speak she was rushing back down the stairs. "Well Kyran, she's not dead." the girl chuckled, as they made their way back down the stairs- greeted by the fairy they had rubbed elbows with earlier when they had first met Elsea. He spoke to them softly, but the message was loud and clear. Dionaea nodded saying, "Pleasure is mine." as she shifted her weight from one leg to another.
