Imagery insufficient.[/sub]
Standing about one point nine meters tall and weighing in at eighty-five kilos. Well muscled with a short beard that seems to show his age just as much as his hair does. The light graying of soft black hair is the telltale sign of a soldier destined to be removed from the front line sooner or later. Along his arms traces of plasma burns, missing hair that never regrew shows the rushed nature of the treatment. Along his chest and back even more scaring some from explosives others from blades or blasters. He walks rather quietly, his movements have been described as graceful almost like a dancer slipping across the floor. Coryn's impressive size and rather silent demeanor make him an imposing force yet he speaks with surprisingly gentle tone and one of understanding. However once angered he has a rather silent almost radiating anger than is more viewed than heard. Since his daughter's kidnapping Coryn has also been far more prone to violence against even fellow Republic personal since the Sacking of Coruscant.
[sub]Report on skills and talents, including level of skill.[/sub]
Veteran of Great Galactic War: As a twenty year veteran there are few kinds of warfare Coryn has yet to experience or enemies he has yet fought. From Sith Lords to Imperial Agents, his tour of the galaxies battlefields has turned him into a unflinching and unwavering soldier. He is stronger and more well trained than most soldiers as such it takes more than most combat offers to unnerve him, he seems to thrive in a bad scenario proving as hard to kill as they come. Havoc Squad Veteran: Having once served with the Republic's most famous Commando team since it's early days and survived long enough to choose to transfer out of active combat, Coryn is a rare breed of soldier. His instincts are well tuned, his own combat training and experience set him apart from other soldiers. Often trusting his in intuition he has managed to anticipate and avoid ambushes several times in his life. Skilled Orator: Coming from the world of Chandrila the home of democracy and open debate and as the child of the Chandrila's sitting Senator he was tutored at a young age to speak before others with grace and style. As such when Coryn speaks soldiers tend to listen, his speeches use language of the barracks and the truth of the life of the enlisted. He is one soldiers will follow because he stands among them, not above them like Senators and politicians, he understands why they fight on a personal level less on the national level. Good Chef: After leaving military service and settling on Coruscant with his wife, Nephle, they both revealed how little they knew about cooking. As such Coryn studied and practiced constantly soon he found himself enjoying it, making meals for others, putting his knife skills to use for something other than slicing throats. While he's no master chef he knows quite a few recipes and knows how to improvise rather well when certain ingredients are missing.
[sub]Report on known combat experience, training and weapons training.[/sub]
Republic Infantry Veteran: Standard blaster rifle, pistol, and grenade training as well as basic training in CQC. Serving three years and surviving battle that standard training was benefited through real experience in how to keep a unit together and combat enemy forces with the gear issued even if it isn't suited for that combat. Havoc Squadron Commando: After his three of service and being promoted to Sergeant he was noticed by Elin Garza who was creating the Republic Special Forces. Seeing his skill and believing it could improved upon further she arranged his transfer to serve under infantry squad three-one-six, otherwise known as Havoc Squadron. Pulled from his current service and given a short time to retrain on more advanced gear, he was transferred to service on Alderaan, shortly before the Sith invasion. Recon and Intelligence Officer: While serving with Havoc Squad he was a forward scout and an interrogator, specializing in making sure prisoners squealed on their allies if they still had a tongue that was. Highly proficient in torture, interrogation, information extraction, and hostile negotiations. He also has experience in decryption of Sith intelligence and how they attempt to acquire intelligence. Blaster rifle: A skilled marksman preferring well placed short to volume of fire, two decades of combat with blaster rifles have taught him much about to carefully aim and pull the trigger to strike a target. A weapon is only as good as the soldier carrying it, as such Coryn makes blaster rifles a very dangerous weapon to anyone inside of it's range. Blaster Pistol(s): Usually carrying one but has been know to use two, a Republic soldiers first choice if they can't use a rifle, use a pistol. Well versed and experienced in using the weapon to hold off enemy forces or even to defeat better armed opponents through use of terrain and the weapons smaller size. Close Quarters Combat: While the basics were covered in training more advanced CQC training was done for the members of Havoc. Seeking out further training and practice what he had already learned Coryn focused on using knife play and his own martial combat experience to advance his ability to engage the enemy without a blaster.
[sub]Report on role, specialization and responsibilities pertaining to the subject’s military deployment.[/sub]
Veteran Republic Officer: A capable leader and capable of forming a plan and adapting on the fly as combat demands, experience in command of larger units and front line smaller assault forces. As an officer Coryn is decisive and proactive in his command and generally trusting his instinct and pushing for training, valuing the lives of his soldiers heavily. Intelligence Personal: After leaving Special Forces to start a family, Coryn worked in intelligence and logistical support for Special Forces in the field. He was often taking the comm and advising Havoc in the field or relaying new intel they were given and of course performing off the record meetings with Garza on things the Senate didn't need to know. As such he understands both the politics, intel value, and troop cost from both sides of the battlefield. Enhanced Interrogation Specialist: Is what the Republic calls him when the Senate asks what he does in the field and why he spends time with prisoners. Coryn has even made Sith talk with enough time and a sharp blade, of course he will usually prefer to talk them into working with him, but like with everything else Imperials sometimes need a roughing up to get them to co-operate. Field Commander: Working as commander of three of the Republic's many special forces units, he commands two front line support units and one blacks op unit. As a Republic grunt who earned his commission and position through merit and skill rather than a Republic military academy he has found himself one of the few veterans to stay with the Republic even through the treaty which many felt betrayed what they had fought for.
[sub]Detailed notes on political influence and associates. [/sub]
Liberty Squad: A special Black Ops unit formed from one of the famed Republic Company that earned a distinguished record. He often commands the squad personally or accompanies them into the field when he can, the unit itself is not as known as other squads but are considered by the Empire to be one of the more dangerous units. Freedom and Justice Squads: Lesser known squads also formed from the remains of the same company of soldiers, they act as front line units supporting Republic Infantry mostly. These units also act as a way for Liberty to take only the best and most suited soldiers would join Liberty. These units are often in combat or embedded with other units, occasionally see their commanding officer. General Elin Garza: An old friend and commanding officer of the Republic Special Forces, Garza had joined the war younger and served longer than Coryn. Coryn while not a founding member of the Special Forces like others was one of the first to be brought on board for Havoc Squad. When Coryn moved to Coruscant he became one of Garza's more trusted officers, helping her work outside the rules of the Senate. Supreme Commander Jace Malcolm: Coryn served under Jace during his time in Havoc and worked as an intelligence adviser for Jace after he left the front to raise his family. He has kept contact but often posted in different locations has left them friendly but distant. However Coryn still views Jace as his commander and as a friend, he'd follow him anywhere and would ask others to do the same.
[sub]Detailed notes on known rivals and enemies, within and outside the Republic army/navy.[/sub]
Senator Rena Tynblade, sworn enemy of the Republic Special Forces in the Senate. Believing they are engaging unlawful and illegal war crimes. Senator Tynblade is also the mother of Coryn and one of the leaders of the Pro-peace and deescalation with the Empire.
[sub]List and description of other known associates, including subordinates.[/sub]
Captain Akysa Jarrde leader of Liberty Squad. Captain Aurren Crowe leader of Freedom Squad. Captain Marius Stark leader of Justice Squad. Lieutenant Nola Korr second of Liberty Squad Lieutenant D'arial Rosado second of Freedom Squad. Lieutenant Ilm Rex second of Justice Squad.
[sub]List of known belongings, including but not limited to planetary surface property, civilian and military vessels, vehicles, weapons, tools.[/sub]
Perfectly maintained and cleaned Coruscant high rise apartment, kept perfectly barely ever used. BT-7 Thunderclap registered as "Eternal Vigilance". Customized personal blaster rifle with under-slung launcher. Twin custom heavy blaster pistols. Encrypted holo-communicator. Specialized datapad for personal use and receiving intelligence.
[sub]Psychological evaluation of candidate.[/sub]
Major Coryn has shown increased aggression and hostility since the Sacking of Coruscant, where once he had a modicum of belief that the Empire could beaten through hope and hard work. He now treats all Imperials with the same disdain believing that if they are willing to tolerate and enable the world the Sith rule, they deserve everything he would do a Sith. He also seems to be quicker to jump into action rather than use his well known intelligence gathering skills. Worst of intelligence believes he may be using Republic resources and his free time to track down his daughter through SIS contacts and underworld connections. Coryn has also shown an usual restraint when dealing with younger Imperial soldiers and Sith, especially those that are close to the age his daughter would be. He has also been noted to interact poorly with Jedi, with many claiming he distrusts force users and though he still respects the Jedi the find him rather guarded and careful around them. General Garza did have me note as well that it may just be because like herself, the Major does not believe the Jedi are willing to do what is needed to win the war. On a final note, Coryn has become withdrawn lately, most of his fellow veterans are too distant or dead, with Garza being an exception she does her best to keep him in line though Coryn I believe does need someone to talk too, other than a Republic psychologist.
[sub]List and description of known and suspected flaws. To be put into restricted database.[/sub]
Dislike of force users: Coryn has issues with force users and believes they shouldn't be trusted with command or status in politics. In the field of battle if a Jedi is in the field they should follow orders same as other soldiers. This is possibly related to the number of Sith he has met and from intel leading him to believe that force users in positions of power will always abuse that power. Vendetta: Coryn's wife died to a Sith, his daughter enslaved and lost among the Empire's countless enslaved population. Family torn apart, Coryn still served though seemed much more distant until recently it came to light he had been burning through leads. Coryn was working his way down the list of people who knew who had taken his daughter or could find out. Unsanctioned: Coryn often works in unsanctioned or illicit activities against the Sith and Empire working to weaken them and undermine the systems they control. He commits war crimes and has knowledge of these crimes and others committed by the Republic Special Forces. Many in the Senate's pro-peace movement would love proof of Garza's crimes and illegal activities to try and remove her control and get more Senate control over Special Forces. Unrepentant Crusade: Unlike many Coryn at his core does enjoy the work finding it more a benefit that he gets to do it in the name of saving people and protecting the Republic. To him this is not just war or protecting people, this is stamping out true evil, the Sith are monsters who believe themselves above the rules of those without gifts. He aims to teach them that the force means nothing, power means nothing, they are mortals just the same.
[sub]Known interests of the candidate.[/sub]
Cooking: Coryn loves to prepare meals, often cooks for the unit if he gets a choice even spending time tracking ingredients or new recipes to make. Coryn cooks as it's a skill he learned as a family man and has kept practice hoping one day when the Empire is dismantled he can return to that life. Republic and military History: Coryn spent much of his youth learning about the history of the Republic as his parents believed he would be a public servant. Of course joining the military at sixteen against the wishes of his mother and father, he found more use in studying military history and tactics. Diplomacy and politics: In his heart Coryn is still Chandrilan and as such he enjoys debate and discussion over politics or ideals. He even occasionally mutters about trying to become a Senator when the fight is finished, his calm demeanor and usual willingness to listen even if he comes off as gruff is something many of his men appreciate.
[sub]Major achievements on record.[/sub]
Awarded his first Bronze Crescent at age nineteen when Coryn captured one hundred and thirty two Imperial Troopers with the survivors of his platoon helping to escort them away. When they arrived at the Republic one of the officers present asked. "I heard you captured the entire Imperial Army Corporal." Coryn laughed and answered "No sir, just about a hundred and thirty of'em we gotta go back for the rest." Medal of Valor, awarded for outstanding bravery during the retreat from Balmorra Coryn ensured all other Republic personal and resistance personal had finished their evacuation. Before he joined the last shuttle ensuring the Balmorran's had everything the Republic could spare them to continue the fight. Promoted to sergeant as well. Second Bronze Crescent awarded after his transfer to the 45th Infantry Division, during which he was assigned to to the command of Lieutenant Elin Garza. During guerrilla action on Bomodon Sergeant Tynblade ascended a still burning and using a heavy repeating blaster to kill an advancing squad while holding off several Imperial vehicles and infantry alone, killing an unknown number. Wounded in the process he retreated and returned with his squad who drove off the enemy before he sought treatment for his wounds. Chancellor's Service Medal: Coryn was awarded this for service after being wounded being sent home on a Republic medical transport. He was receiving treatment when the vessel came under attack by a Sith Harrower-class Dreadnought, the medical vessel quickly surrendered before it could be damaged. Coryn finding this out from an engineer who was passing by, he and the engineer hid when Imperial forces began boarding. Slipping past the Imperial soldiers the engineer and Coryn sabotaged the reactor disabling it and putting it into a critical state. With the Imperial forces in disarray, Coryn and engineer slipped away medical transport escaping in the chaos, Coryn and the Engineer were both awarded the Chancellor's Service Medal.
[sub]Major failures on record. Confidential.[/sub]
Abandonment of Balmorra: Having served when the Republic still was embattled on Balmorra, Coryn feels responsible each time he has to look at the Republic's people subjugated or rebels slaughtered. Coryn fully believes the Republic needs to recommit to taking Balmorra back and is haunted by thoughts of all those freedom fighters and militia units he once stood beside now alone and fighting an enemy who turns the weapons they make on them. Badly wounded on Alderaan: During Havoc squads attack on the Imperial forces on Alderaan Coryn was wounded by a Sith. Coryn was among those who fought at Jace Malcolm's side, supporting the assault Coryn rushed towards the enemy using a heavy repeating blaster. Coryn eventually stopped by a Sith who grabbed him with the force and through him through large tree. Thrown threw a nearby tree Corinth had several broken bones, light brain damage, and internal bleeding. Spent nearly a year recovering on Coruscant and moving slowly back to activate assignment. Death of a Capture target: Coryn's last mission before transitioning out to serving on Coruscant to be with his wife. Involved the capture of a former Republic official who had betrayed the Republic for a sizable control of a planet. When the last hostile went down, he tried to bolt for the door high speed train platform used for cargo shipping. A blaster bolt caught him in the leg and he tumbled onto the tracks. Coryn knew the man had sold his entire planet into slavery for credits, realizing a scum like this wouldn't get a proper trial he allowed the incoming train to do it's work, he never touched the bastard. Loss of Family: Coryn served during the sacking of Coruscant and lost his wife and daughter, his wife, a Republic doctor was executed during the sacking by a Sith who wanted to kill a Jedi Padawan she was tending too. His daughter who had been at the same hospital was reported to have been carried away as a slave by the Empire.

[sub]Personal biography, as detailed by the subject for use in republic archives. Acquired shortly after last achievement of note. Some details may be used for training purposes.[/sub]
Doctor Ti'Nali: Hello Major, I see you've been asked by General Garza. Can you tell why you think she asked you to have an evaluation. Coryn: Due to work related and possibly incorrect use of assets. Doctor Ti'Nali: I think your trying to down play it, you are trying to find the Sith who took your daughter from you and killed your wife? Coryn: Maybe I am, it's not that big a problem as far as I see it. Doctor Ti'Nali: Really? It's self destructive Coryn and the General doesn't want you risking trouble with the Empire to settle a vendetta. Coryn: The General sanctions- Coryn is cut off by the doctor Doctor Ti'Nali: No, you can't talk about that here. More importantly this isn't about the General it's about you, eyes on on you just as much as they are her. You need to get over your emotions and recover from the loss rather than- Coryn slams a fist on the coffee table, startling the Doctor. Coryn: My daughter is all I have left, I won't give up on finding her. Never. Whatever the Sith have done, she's my baby girl and I won't stop fighting... The Republic can have my life but they aren't allowed to give up on hers. Doctor Ti'Nali: The General's not going to be happy about that. Coryn: Then tell her to court martial me and I'll go do it as independent citizen... I won't give up on her, no matter what hell I go through. Coryn leaves the room, the automatic report then filed and sent to General Garza for review.
