Faolan couldn't help but huff at Lucien's description of him as his "best friend". Although, when he thought about it he couldn't really argue, by default Lucien was Faolan's only and closest friend. He wondered vaguely if he had ever been closer with anyone...even back home, there was distance between his parents and himself, and he had no really close friends growing up. His sister Fiona was probably the only one who could come close, but there bond was different...Faolan couldn't say how exactly, but his feelings about Lucien were...different. Before he had time to examine that any further, the Frenchman spoke up again. He looked over in Lucien's direction, specifically down at his hands, then looked away again and sighed heavily. Faolan knew from what he had seen that Lucien was drained by his healing ability, and if he was already tired it would do him no good to use it now, he would only be trading Faolan's exhaustion for his own. However, he also knew that if he refused, Lucien would simply just ask again when some time had passed, and make that face he did...To avoid both, Faolan simply shrugged and nodded. "If you insist..." he said, and held out his arm without looking in Lucien's direction.
