Even though she saw them all the time, she felt a surge of happiness whenever her friends were nearby. She tilted her head, her smiling fading once Kyran joined, looking very unhappy. He began a tirade of questions for Elthrael, some of which Risa had wondered about as well. It had perturbed her that he hadn't mentioned Jean-Luc's death. She wondered if he had been chased off and hadn't seen it or only distracted some of the pursuers perhaps. As much as Risa felt a bit bad that Elthrael was being greeted in not the friendliest manner, she understood it was important to establish trust as the situation was confusing. Kyran beckoned her over with his hand. However, he didn't look so friendly and she was afraid he'd scold her so she hesitated a moment. Eventually, she did move to his side, his fluffy fox tail curling around her like a coat being draped around her. His tail was so fluffy and he knew she liked to touch it. Risa petted it, distracted for the moment as she was delighted to touch fluff. She looked up only when Dionaea joined and she beamed at her. Risa had been putting extra effort to be there for Dionaea as much as she could this week. Elsea joined as well, looking excited at first to see Elthrael. Another surge of excitement filled her as yet another beloved friend was now present. A troubled look overcame Elsea's beautiful smile and Risa wasn't sure what had happened there. She ended up, glancing over at her, continuing to pet the foxtail and hold it. The look Elsea gave Risa made it seem like she wanted to ask her something. Risa gave her a look of confusion back. Elsea moved on to begin questioning Elthrael as well. Both of them were now suspicious of Elthrael. A bad feeling earlier had also filled Risa's gut that she had ignored. Risa reminded herself that they needed to try to see the good in others, so she elected to stay silent until Elthrael said his piece, and then proceeded to ask "Why don't we all chat over breakfast or something?" Kyran did not seem to trust him and it was rational for them not to force him to let Elthrael in his home where his family lived. Kyran had been kind enough to let them all stay there and it was asking too much to make him house people he did not trust. Tensions seemed high at the moment and it would be best if everyone sat down to a lovely meal. Besides, Risa was hungry. Her stomach grumbled audibly and she smiled like a child caught red-handed.
