I see your point, and it does help me understand the issue at hand. That is a lot of magic that would be negated. I’m resigned to the reality Doric just won’t work. That said, direct magical ability is only half the magic involved. There are a plethora of magical abilities that don’t directly affect someone. Conjugations, projected illusions, buffs to the opponent, abjuration, evocation, and summons are a few. Not to mention changes to the environment, charms or illusions to allies, potions, and direct attacks using magic as the propellant.
