Sylvia was pleasantly surprised to see that her friends were ready to head out and help her make the caramel apples. Sylvia thought that she would making them alone, but she was glad to have the help. With their help, they could make more caramel apples in less amount of time. Sylvia was glad to see that they came in during the lull between lunch and after work. She listened as the chef told them what he had, and what cooking in his kitchen will cost. She could see that his kitchen was his pride and joy. She answered the chef at his question about cleaning, “Of course! I wouldn’t dare to leave a kitchen in disarray,” She then fished out twelve pieces of gold and she handed it to the orc chef while informing him, “I’m not sure if we’ll need the whole hogshead, but just in case we do, I’m paying for it ahead of time. I’m also including an extra two gold, just in case we need another pound of sugar and apples. Is that alright?”
