The princess blinked. She frowned and narrowed her eyes. 
"He is no ordinary field medic if you remember. He is also a part of my personal court. You will treat him with respect."
She sighed and frowned still, when he asked who remained out of those on the war council. 
"I have terrible news in regards to that. Some of them were slaughtered on the battlefield. Only 12 of the 42 now remain."
A tear rolled down her cheek.
