Maisy returned the head to the one armed knight, who seemed actually impressed this time. "You actually went out and did it?" He asked. "I didn't think any of the whelps around here had the nerve."

Maisy beamed at the scripted praise.

"Here." He said, extending a hand and giving her a rose pendant. "Show that to the knight master in the city of Rhea. You're too promising to stay in a backwater like this." 

That presented a problem. She couldn't keep doing the night quest without going to a different city, but her freind had told her they should meet here at sundown.

The quest could wait. She still had a lot of time left in the day. She went back outside and practiced with that charge skill she'd gained, trying to control and turn despite the momentum.
