[indent]Born in Oakland, California, Nicole had actually spent very little time in the California town. Once she was born, the Milano family quickly relocated a little down south to Florida, where she remains today. There, she enjoyed a rather comfortable upbringing. Her parents were supportive, yet protective of young Nicole. There were a lot of things that Nicole was shielded off from as a kid, and it really shows today with how often things fly over her head and how many things have to be explained to poor Nicole.

It was quickly discovered that Nicole had a knack for gymnastics and cheerleading, and despite her relatively large stature in comparison to her competition, she found that she managed to prosper despite the physical limitations that were posed before her as a competing gymnast and cheerleader. Much to the dismay of her parents, however, she isn't really as into cheerleading and gymnastics as she once was in the past. Nicole much, much prefers to focus on other things, even if she doesn't necessarily know what she wants to focus on half the time.[/indent]
