His heart was beating so fast he could have sworn it would tear out of his chest and fly off into the distance. The why however was rather unknown, or at the very least complicated. His emotions for Colby ran a bit wild as they sat there holding hands, Colbys eyes fixated on the road before them as he concentrated on his driving. This was one source of his hearts fast paced beating, the other was the growing anxiety that gnawed at the pit of his stomach. A deep churning sensation as they grew closer and closer to their destination, worry riddling him wondering what they might find when they enter the park. Would the stranger be present? Or perhaps some prankster who used to be part of the orphanage they both were at. His mind was at war, curious and wanting to seek answers to the questions that kept arising, yet anxious and afraid of looking for such answers for the fear that he may not like what he finds. These thoughts were enough to drive someone mad. Once they finally approached, Maddy let go of the breathe he had been holding. Muscles once tense now relaxing as he was finally able to gain feeling in his face. What he saw before him wasn't anything to be nervous about, nothing screamed out of the ordinary; it was just people enjoying a day in the park with their dogs and children, and families. Maybe he thought too much on this? After all he thinks too much on everything, or so he is told. His eyes scanned the park, searching for an unknown, a stranger amongst a sea of strangers. That's when he finally saw her, a woman looking straight at him, carving an apple with a blade in her hand. His hand tensed up once again, feeling Colbys in his and realizing he had never let go. "S-sorry. Look, there's someone there...looking right at us." Maddy nodded towards her direction, trying not to show that he had caught her staring. "Don't worry, I'm sure it'll be fine. Just relax and breathe ok?: Whether this was to Colby or himself it was hard to tell since Maddy had the horrible habit of given very good advice, yet very seldomly following it.
