Anton can’t remember much of what life was like before the experiments.  He remembers the warm feeling of the summer, or what would be summer he supposed and the smell of flowers in the spring followed by the bitter cold of the winter snow.  He remembers that music always brought him joy and a feeling of calm.  Reading was his favorite past time when he wasn’t with his family.  He was sure he had a kind heart at some point and would never want to hurt people unless he absolutely had to.  But that all changed when he was dropped into the tank.  The goal was to fuse an individual’s own DNA with that of the Xmen known as Colossus.  

The fusion was a complete success even surpassing any expectations the scientist had dreamt of.  Anton’s DNA not only accepted the foreign one but enhanced it as well.  The process left Anton not only with a stronger form of Colossus’s skin but also left his base form with increased stamina and strength.  

For three years after this process, Anton proved to be an invaluable asset to their cause in proving that they could keep up with the American projects.  One rather large blemish on their record, however, was a subject of their own creation Omega Red.  What would be Anton’s last mission for the program he was sent to Siberia to either capture or destroy him.  In a strange turn of events the Xmen, who had also been tracking Omega Red, arrived to see Anton already locked in combat with him.  

After the dust settled Omega Red was nowhere to be found, leaving a defeated Anton and the X-men alone.  With the help of Colossus, the X-men were able to convince Anton that they weren’t the enemies they were made out to be and wanted to help him.  They promised to help show Anton how he could use his powers for good rather than be a weapon of destruction.

Organic metal skin-  like Colossus Anton can cover either a portion of or, his whole body in metal.  While in this form Anton has superhuman strength and stamina as well as becoming resistant to most forms of damage.

Shifting metal-  Anton can also shape the metal covering his body to fit his needs.  Usually, this involves turning his arms into spears or rounding them to become more hammer-like.  (similar to T-1000) 

Enhanced strength- even outside of his metal form Anton has increased strength and stamina putting him above even the best athletes.
