Name: Rei Kobayashi
Age: 20
Appearance: You don't look like you're from around here...
Personality: Generally calm and collected, Rei displays a patient demeanour in equal part from how she's been raised and in having spent so much of her life dealing with children of various species and relationships. She likes to think of herself as a reliable big sister figure, even if everyone's not that much younger than she is, and with her own curious streak being something that often threatens to overwhelm her common sense. Her other major flaw is being particularly taken with Cetare's famous wine industry.
History: Rei is the oldest of six children, with only the youngest two having been born in Cetare. All the rest and all of Rei's family on the maternal side, as far back as they remember, have been born in Ecruteak City. This long presence in the city heavily involves them in its history and its cultural traditions; aunts, grandparents, and cousins are all former or current kimono girls, while some like Rei's mother instead bred the Eevees they favour. She dimly recalls her elderly great-grandmother suggesting that the choice to breed Eevee--with its ability to adapt to various elemental forms--was a way to make amends for how the legendary beasts were treated. Rei showed more aptitude for following the same path as her mother than the dancing, and despite her preference for the older clothing very much expressed dismay at how elaborate a get-up was involved. From the time she made this choice, Rei has had Kuro and Shiro to raise; good practice for when the family started to grow. Although her father had previously done a lot of travelling over Johto and Kanto for work, sometimes needing to spend an extended time away from his family, he received an unusual promotion that required a more permanent move to Cetare. Although it may have been possible to remain behind with her cousins, given Rei's age, she was excited about learning all the new language and how to cook with foreign ingredients--though that hasn't gone so well. The move went pretty smoothly, and although it took her longer than she would have liked to pick up the language, Rei has adapted well enough to the new region, although still favouring her old clothing too much to change. With most of her siblings now being old enough to help with the youngest, she's expressed an interest in becoming something of an Eevee-specialised trainer herself before settling down to breed full time with better knowledge... if that's indeed what she ends up doing.
Party: Umbreon, Espeon, Eevee, Eevee, Eevee, and Eevee.
Inventory: Rei has in her possession a handful of potions and four everstones, along with some sentimental trinkets from Ecruteak City of no use to a pokemon. She also has cooking gear... even though she's still not the best at using the local ingredients.
Other: One might find it strange that all of Rei's Eevees are female, given the gender distribution of the species. The answer, of course, is quite simple: when your family business is about breeding something otherwise quite rare, giving away the mothers is a poor idea. That, and she hardly wants to have more of them on the road.

Pokemon: Umbreon
Nickname: Kuro
Personality: One of Rei's two oldest Pokemon, Kuro seems to have largely taken after her big sister role, being calm and generally seeking to be a calming and nurturing sort. Having never been originally expected to be a trainer's pokemon in any capacity, she resists being stuck in a Poké Ball except when circumstances outright require it. Nature: Careful
Ability: Synchronize
Moves: Pursuit, Helping Hand, Tackle, Wish, Baby-Doll Eyes
Other:

Pokemon: Espeon
Nickname: Shiro
Personality: The other of Rei's original Pokemon, Shiro--as befits her cat-like appearance--is highly curious, especially about anything that happens which it didn't expect. Like Kuro, she extremely dislikes being kept confined and is the far more likely of the two to wander off when Rei isn't looking to go investigate something. She has much less patience for small children. Nature: Rash
Ability: Magic Bounce
Moves: Confusion, Helping Hand, Tackle, Tail Whip, Baby-Doll Eyes
Other:

Pokemon: Eevee
Nickname: Momo
Personality: Somewhat excitable, somewhat skittish, generally cheerful.
