Ho ho ho ho! This was the shit he'd been waiting for. The write silver glow in Gavin's hand cast weird shadows around the room as he...threatened? Archer didn't know what it did, but it seemed mighty threatening. So he threatened the guy that had strolled in here asking questions because the guy wasn't actually the guy. That guy was working for the real guy, and whoever that guy was he was influential enough to have followers and careful enough not to just walk into a weird situation himself. Shit. He was probably the smartest guy here and he wasn't even here yet. Well, that or he just lacked confidence. The minion went over in the corner to call up his master and, it looked like, sulk. Archer felt bad for him. "Hey, don't feel to bad buddy." He called. "Some of these powers are some absolute bullshit when it comes to getting information." Gavin sat down and started to explain a lot of stuff Archer already knew. Angels, mission from god, strange powers, save the world, it wasn't anything he hadn't already been doing. Of course, the most he'd done for this "save the word" mission his guardian angel had given him was use his powers to build up funds because other than this he hadn't come across a real lead on what he had to do yet. So as Gavin went on his attention was drawn elsewhere. Specifically to the girl that had slipped in as he began. She was young, younger even then their host, and had the sort of fashion sense only possessed by two groups of people; homeless and runaways. He wondered whether she was even supposed to be here or if she'd wandered inside to get out of the elements and use the water fountains. As Gavin finished his explanation the reaction of the room so far was mixed. One guy that had come in all quiet like seemed to be all for it, but Archer wasn't surprised to see the girl as confused as she was. This whole thing did seem straight out of the playbook of one of those hoodoo guru group-think spiritual leaders. He'd be wary too if he hadn't woken up in the hospital with actual magic powers. She did say something that caught his interest though. He waved to Gavin. "You don't got to tell me twice. I already got paid for this so I couldn't drop it even if I wanted to. More that that though..." He turned back to look at the girl. "I think I might be above to help with that." He said with was more confidence than his shabby appearance should allow. "Finding people is a good 65% of my regular job. Your feet just so happened to bring you to the best private eye on the east coast." Normally that wasn't a claim he would be willing to make, but considering he now had actual superpowers he was confident it was true. "My name's Archer." He said, drawing a crumpled card from his coat pocket and handing it to the girl. Archer Guld, it said. Private investigator. And under that a phone number that went to a melted phone sitting in a landfills somewhere. "Did you have anything besides a photo to go on?"
