Marin tucks the eyepatch under her arm and steps close to him. She takes the hand that covers his eye into her own. "So you won't be tempted to cover your eye again. I know what it's like to feel alone, left out because there seems to be no one like you. To want to pretend and blend in so much you start to believe your just like everyone else. But let me tell you something. You're different, and that's not a bad thing. If you were like everyone else, that's one less person that people like I are in common with."
