Akane could not help but return Cora's smile with one of her own, appreciating of the fact Cora had taken cards from her even though no one else had. Her tails shook from side to side from under her dress, no longer in a sulky mood. 

It was then that Ivory decided to rise to her feet. As much as she didn't want to spend any time with the magician that was necessary, she knew they had to get this over with one way or another, and she didn't want to risk this failing because they hadn't had enough time to figure something out. She was already assuming that he might be difficult to work with.
