How grounded is this rp? Cause for the city to quickly assemble protocol to capture Para in a month and for pro-para faction groups to assemble right away seems really fast. Like the Tower blowing was done on purpose and the government was already prepared for the side effects. The pro-para leaders were in on it and it's all just a game manufactured for some kind of gain the public isn't privy to.
I'm going to keep all the spoilery bits out but here's a little gist: 1) It's fairly obvious that there was some ambiguous intent involved in the explosion. 2) Each of the pro para factions are new and they are aided by anti-Lorne movements. They are led by some powerful people and that's the weight they have to pull to contend to the superpower in the city that is Lorne. More details will come soon through the actual IC stuff and other characters. 3) The Gov't wouldn't interfere if Lorne lobbies hard enough and considering that they are working with the police force to... contain, the paras, that give them leeway. Lorne has control of the Mayor and most members of the council. Once I finish up the bits for the other two main contenders in the City, it'll paint a pretty clear picture if you read between the lines. The general consensus is that no one wants the gov't to get involved rn. And Lorne has more than enough resources to make sure they don't. 4) This is literally I can give you without untangling the massive conspiracy that is surrounding the city. Not all is as it seems, and there are some serious upstarts sitting in the wings. I will say this though:
[sub]5) It's entirely possible to lose.[/sub]
