I'm now imagining them riding in a commentators box mounted on the back of a heavily bio-modded hydra which has a bunch of loudspeakers bolted on the side. Look out new world, the Chateau needs fresh meat and we're going to get it one way or another! Well that's an odd coincidence. Possibly one I should ruin by lowering her stats a just touch so she ain't as strong as a floor boss.
Sounds fun. As for the stats, maybe it's that Graft's are somewhat low for a floor boss. We'd have to get Tree's ruling. On another note, [@The Irish Tree], if you aren't already are you planning to keep track of the members of Bandersnatch? As of right now, there's your Rodias, BountyBritches the perverted creator of Silke, Brushen Penn the artistic creator of Graft, Loss the jokester creator of Mamoru, TrapTrixx the childish creator of Chuunithulu, and Kiss My Axe the archivist creator of Kathe. Add to that Sun200 the poaching creator of Kaldorna and we're up to 7. I ask because in the OP the Climax Hour describes the ten thrones of the Bandersnatch Lords, which would seemingly put a limit on how many members there can be. Of course, that number could be changed, or people could create characters made by other players' members, or they could be created by past members of Bandersnatch, but I thought I'd let you know.
[@Lugubrious] Question, how wasteful is Graft and his chapter? I ask because materialism, commercialism, and consumerism are often defined by a sense of wastefulness, ie. discarding a perfectly good iPhone 9 for the new iPhone 10, or even worse, the very concept of engineered obsolescence. I want to make my character's chapter a prettified garbage dump, a Toyland that collects unloved and unwanted things and pretties them up, giving the illusion that they are loved and wanted. A crapsaccharine land of abandonment and resentment, mostly for inorganic and non-living materials that get turned into dolls and things. Or is Graft and his chapter highly efficient and resourceful, finding a use for anything and everything, and always finding ways to recycle broken or unused components?
The Factory might misspend its own resources, but it keeps everything that's put into it in circulation, so it's not wasteful as far as other floors are concerned. Graft's Production Specialists are always gathering spare material to put into the various machines or through Production. In fact, the Factory probably stands as a dump for others to funnel their resources to make sure they're put to use. However, I have an idea. Since all areas had to be made in the guild at some point, it stands to reason that the Factory might be made pretty early on and then used to manufacture materials for other floors. Maybe the Bandersnatch Lord that makes this Toyland of yours put in an order to the Factory to make dolls and things to be dumped in the Toyland, and since the order was never stopped, the Factory has a machine that's just always churning out useless biomechanical dolls and other junk to be dumped in the Toyland. Have some kind of collector in the Toyland that gathers junk and sends it back to the Factory to be processed, and bam, infinite loop of production and waste.
