Amanda made her entrance, shooting Tessa a glance as well as Tara. Tessa knew that her friend didn’t really approve of her friendship with Tara, but both of the ladies meant so much to her…. What was there to do? It appeared that everyone had entered the party, some of them sitting by themselves or forming groups. Once Tessa had said her piece and heard what Willow had to say about her divorce, Tessa no longer had any reason that she wanted to hang around other than Tara. It seemed that her friend was intent on getting herself wasted as well, however, and striking up a conversation with Allison. Tessa politely excused herself to the restroom as to escape whatever potential pity party this was about to turn in to. Being tipsy and walking in heels wasn’t the best idea. Once she got to the restroom, she carefully made her way inside, stopping to look at herself in the mirror first. Downing seven shots of tequila in ten minutes wasn’t her most glorious moment, but it had loosened her up a bit. What on earth she had to worry about, she couldn’t quite place her finger on. Was it feeling like she was in high school again? Surely not. Tessa had more or less been adored by most of the people that were here. She didn’t have any actual rivals or enemies to worry about from that long ago. So was it Brent? ”Surely not,” she scoffed at herself in the mirror. ”It’s not like he’s the only male that you’ve tried to keep in touch with other than Jace. It’s not like you don’t know his family, or that you don’t care for him. It’s not like you haven’t tried to be there for him when you can, or caught yourself guessing if you had caught feelings,” she continued, combing her hair out of her face. ”What is your drunk ass even saying right now? You're a bad bitch. Bad bitches do not catch feelings.” Once her lipstick was reapplied and her dress was straightened, Tessa exited the restroom to hear someone yelling. It took her a second to decipher the voices, but it sounded a lot like Jace and Amanda. Apparently her friends conquest for dick wasn’t turning out as planned. Removing her heels, she politely asked one of the hotel staff if they would place them outside of her room. Thankfully the young man obliged, saving Tessa from tripping over her own feet. Taking another look around, she seen Reina shove Brent into the pool. A handful of the Kings Men were still catching up, and it seemed that Jace was making his way back over to the table. Grayson and Amanda were also storming away, though headed in different directions. Grayson appeared to be pissed off as much as the other parties did, though why Tessa didn’t know. She had a feeling she would hear about it later rather it be from Jace or Amanda. Moving to stand beside the pool herself, Tessa followed Reinas lead and shoved Grayson into the pool without giving it a second thought. When the man came back up from under the water, Tessa simply shrugged her shoulders at his shocked expression. ”You looked like you needed to cool off.”
