[b]Special Abilities:[/b] She is an empath, and tends to be able to sense people's auras, occasionally being able to tap into the feelings and minds of others, but at the moment, she can only receive brief snippets. She will also from time to time exhibit great physical strength, but only for brief periods of time.
	[b]Traits:[/b] Eyes are naturally a strong purple shade, denoting her magical abilities, but her parents encouraged her to wear contacts 		 
        since they adopted her, to hide her spark from those who may want to use it to their own advantage.
[b]Job:[/b] Currently unemployed, panhandler/thief
[b]Appearance:[/b] Alytra stands at an about average height of 5'6. She is a sturdy, busty young woman, who wouldn't be considered fat, but has too much muscle mass to be considered skinny. Her skin is extremely pale, and it is in stark contrast to her rather short, spiky black hair, which contains streaks of magenta throughout. Her eyes are typically a bright, crystal blue hue, but she is almost constantly wearing contacts, leaving her real eye color a mystery to those who first meet her or see her wandering the desolate streets of her hometown. She typically wears whatever poor excuse for clothing she can find, raiding stores that haven't been completely destroyed, or taking them from those who don't watch over their bases carefully enough. Back when she was living with the Sinclairs, though, she was able to buy pretty much whatever she wanted, and tended to opt for durable black spandex capris, a pair of black Vans or other comfortable sneakers, lacy but supportive black undergarments, and a T-shirt or tank-top. If she could get her hands on any decent jewelry again, she prefers silver, with necklaces, bracelets, and anklets being her favorite pre-apocalypse accessory.
[b]Personality:[/b] If there was one word to describe Alytra, it would be this: spunky. She has a lot of spunk, and a hell of an easy time letting anyone around her know. She is sarcastic, witty, independent, and coy, with a quirky sense of humor. She wouldn't consider herself a liar, but she definitely has trust issues, given her history, and isn't as forthcoming as she could be at times. After all, being forced into taking what you need sort of takes away the ability to be honest at all times. She will also always persevere when she needs to accomplish a task, despite what happens in the process, if she knows it needs to be done. If someone really gets to know her and is close to her, she may reveal her more sensitive side, and since she is somewhat in-tune with the auras and emotions of others, it can take a great toll on her own feelings and emotional life. If she lets down her guard around someone, she really trusts and respects them, but it has to be equally earned: if Alytra feels disrespected, she will make that known, and it will often end in some display of physical aggression. 
[b]Background:[/b] Alytra was adopted at the age of four, and doesn't remember anything of her life before that point. She was taken in by the rich and powerful Sinclairs, a couple who had always wanted a child but were too preoccupied with traveling and their careers to try and do it naturally. However, when they adopted Alytra, they realized that she was different... And they didn't like it. As a child Alytra was constantly getting into trouble at school, for reasons not understood by teachers or her parents, and would at times become violent and lash out, too. They always encouraged her to hide her powers (or in their eyes, detriments) and to act professionally, in secrecy, so as to uphold the Sinclair name. Due to their fear that they may end up with another kid that was just too hard to handle, Alytra remained an only child, with plenty of money and things but very few real relationships with people. Unfortunately, though, no amount of money or status was enough to save Alytra's parents from the void that their upper-end apartment was sucked into while Alytra was at school one day. Orphaned again at just thirteen, she and her best friend took to the streets, sleeping where they could and taking what they needed. Recently, she has been through some tougher-than-usual times and fallen in with the wrong crowd, having been separated from her best friend. Although she may not admit it, Alytra is desperately searching for safety, shelter, food, and answers - and, overall, the one thing she never had: a family.
[b]Items:[/b] Alytra takes what she needs, and sometimes what she wants, when she needs it. On her person from day to day are usually the clothes she is wearing, a brown leather backpack containing a few medical supplies, a notebook, pens/colored pencils, a raggedy blanket,a water canteen, a few granola bars and other snacks, and various other trinkets. She carries a pair of knives as well, often well-hidden somewhere on her body, for easy access.

As for the character herself, I didn't know if the age was allowed. Rest assured, I myself am definitely over 18 haha, and I can make her at least 18 if necessary. Thanks!)
