Kori could feel her knees buckle as she tried to assess what was going on throughout the streets of the urban battlefield she was fighting upon.

As far as she could tell, the arrival of a green-skinned warrior appeared to catch the able-bodied Gordanians off-guard. The Tamaranean was grateful for such a development, but even as more warriors began to set a perimeter or engage with the Gordanians she could see the resolve upon her pursuers strengthen. Gordanians were stubborn; like a hungry glurk upon a herd, they refused to let up even when the odds were stacked against them. Had they not been hunting her down, Kori might have found their passion admirable. How many Gordanians were there exactly left? Four? Five?

Kori looked back to the direction she had sent the leader flying. He was probably still getting his bearings. The green-skinned warrior had thrown several into the air, and kicked another one into another building. Two of the others had dealt with an individual Gordanian at the very least—though the one wearing a mask was not as close as the three others. It was a small battlefield, though between her blurring vision and the chaos of the situation she found it hard to keep track of everything. She forced a smile, knowing that there were not many Gordanians left to be worried about. There was a chance she would not be taken back yet.

She could see the Gordanians spread out, some climbing out from the buildings they had been thrown in several moments prior. She was sure they were being screamed at by their leader over their private communicators as he picked himself out of the building she had so kindly thrown him into only a few moments ago.

Kori took another deep breath. The last push was coming soon.
