It has been years now since his kingdom was destroyed. His ex-wife, the former queen, had fled, along with whatever humans she turned and controlled, and any servants she had originally brought with her. She is being hunted as we speak. She runs but also plans to retaliate should he find her. She had only married him to destroy him and his kingdom after all.
