[color=007fff][indent]Shiori is hard to miss at 5'11" with long black hair that falls just down to the lowerback in length, always straight and loose, unless she is on the basketball court. She has deep, blue eyes, like two pools, highlighted by the bangs falling in front of her face. Years in the gym have left her relatively pale, but she wears it well.

Shiori will adhere to the uniform codes necessary, but in her free time, she prefers simpler looks. A jacket over a t-shirt or tank top and a pair of jeans or leggings will do just fine. She does like her jewelry, and she'll wear a bright gold bracelet on her right hand, as well as an azure blue sapphire pendant given to her by her father when she was younger.[/indent][/color]

Once someone gets to know her, she's actually very nice and usually is the one to break up the tension in a room with a line about something. However, she is also very competitive, thanks to years of athletic contests.[/indent][/color]

[color=007fff][indent]Shiori was born and raised in Sapporo on the northern island of Hokkaido. She was part of an athletic family, with her dad being a former professional baseball pitcher, and her older brother following his footsteps. She soon showed herself to have a lot of talent on the basketball court, and by talent, that meant height. She grew up very quickly, got slotted as a power forward by her coaches up north and soon developed her skills. 

Her parents decided that to attract better quality schools for basketball scholarships, and to be closer to her now professional sibling, the family would move south, to Nashiro, so Shiori could play for Hyakusawa. They hoped the prestige might even lure in scouts from America, but it may have brought Shiori down a different path.[/indent][/color]
