Callie smirked to herself as she watched Max suddenly turning on Veil, as she stood there for a moment she didn't hear the door opening up until she had heard Jack's voice and could see him by the doorway now. She held out her hand, as electricity built up in her hand and tried to shoot it out at him. Only for it to hit Veil instead, which didn't do much due to her forcefield as well, Callie couldn't really see where Nightcrawler had hidden himself until he tried to attack Leighton.

She closed her eyes as she built up another charge into her hand, and shot it outwards towards her only for it to end up hitting the newbie Max that she had turned in the process by using her powers. The feeling of the high she was getting from made her feel good and she wanted to take down everyone else that was still in the room.
