In fact, it was probably part of what contributed to keeping him aboard the ship as she feared more of angering him than anything. She wouldn’t admit that, however, not even to Malek. Instead she would just continue telling everyone who questioned her decision the same thing she’d told Malek. She watched Nur hurry away from Aharuhn and briefly wondered what had just transpired between the two. Her thoughts on the matter were quickly forgotten as Malek made a response to her playful comment. She glanced over at him with a smirk, but she watched as he turned his face away briefly and she found it curious. She wondered what was going through his mind, but she let it go for the time being. She knew that he had issues with his charm ability he was born with, knowing he often viewed it as a curse. She’d tried to help him in the past with it, but it seemed like her charm and his charm worked quite a bit differently and so controlling it was different as well. She could understand why he felt the way he did about it, but she rarely got the chance to use her charm so when she did, it seemed to be addicting to her. She also wondered what it felt like to be charmed as she seemed to either have a bit of a resistance to it or people were just too frightened to use it on her. She often considered asking Malek to try and charm her, just so she would know how it felt, but she had yet to build up the courage to actually ask her friend to do something like that. She looked back to Katurah and Aodh once more, noticing the girl seemed to be staring up at the rigging. She truly was like a cat, wasn’t she? Perhaps that’s where she would excel on the ship. ”If she ends up being shit at playing or has stage fright then I’ll just sing us all a pretty song.” She told him with a wink before laughing a bit. ”In all honesty, though, I think most people will be too drunk to care if the kitten is good or not.” She said as she turned the wheel abit to avoid some of the upcoming rocks. His last words had her turning to look at him once more briefly, wanting to see what his expression was. A small, genuine smile graced her lips as she looked back forward again. ”Well then I guess I better stick to my word and guarantee that you have a good time tonight.” They were almost out of the dangerous rocks now and soon she’d feel more comfortable passing off the helm to one of her helmsman. ”Alright ladies and gents, our voyage is officially underway! Let’s have full sails, get us moving as swiftly towards the Isles as possible!”
