[indent]As a princess, Brenna tends to be rather extroverted as she was taught from a young age how to properly converse with people. She does, however, seem to come across rather haughty and self-important most of the time. When you grow up in a life where people look up to you and your family, it’s hard not to have a little bit of a pompous attitude. She can also be rather selfish, but when you’re locked in a marriage that your husband is allowed to do as he pleases and you have to play the role as the perfect and submissive wife it’s hard not to be selfish when you get the chance. She does have a kindness to her and won’t purposely try to make someone feel belittled. She will go to great lengths to protect those she’s closest to, it is one of her driving factors to try and find her missing sister.

Unfortunately Brenna does have quite a temper and she will surely let you know when she’s upset. She isn’t the most patient person in the world, however she isn’t the most impatient either. She’s just used to having things done for her right away and so waiting for things is tough for her. She puts on a brave face, but when it comes down to it she really is a coward and will try to swiftly see her way out of a dangerous situation.

Brenna has quite the intelligence especially when it comes to manipulating people to do things for her. She can tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they would probably enjoy the trip. She thinks she can be quite charming and while that’s true to a point, some people can’t get passed her snooty attitude. Thankfully she does know how to take a joke most of the time, but she doesn’t do too well in telling jokes. Thankfully she is perfectly sane, though some may think she’s insane for wanting to go on this voyage. She would do anything to protect her favored sister tho.[/indent]

Brenna was born to one of her father's multiple concubines, but even so he recognizes those children as his. It allows him to forge more alliances if he does so and thus the reason why both Brenna and Zaleria had been promised in marriage to the two princes of Glasston since birth. Growing up she had quite the spoiled life, being given anything she wished whenever she would ask. She always knew she was to marry a prince of Glasston, but she never truly understood what that really meant. After all, her father was married to a woman who wasn’t her mother.

In childhood, she found herself closest with her half-sister Zaleria. She was born to another concubine and it seemed to draw the two closer together. They were only a few months apart and they considered themselves twins in a way. Brenna loved learning different spells and found she was quite talented with it, especially with enchantments and divination spells. Zaleria was much more skilled in the healing arts which never truly seemed to interest Brenna.

When both girls turned 14 they were set to be married, however Zaleria requested a few more years of studying magic before being married off. As a favored daughter of their father, he granted her wish on the condition that Brenna left to be wed immediately. Out of love for her sister, Brenna gladly agreed and off she sailed to be wed to a man she’d never met. She was nervous and excited all at the same time, but that all changed shortly after the wedding day.

Soon she found out that Finagean enjoyed a drink far too much and sometimes it would make him violent. Often times he would show up in her room, completely drunk, and began beating her. People became very aware of the abuse in the castle, but all feared to say anything so they turned a blind eye to it. She endured for many years until she started to get smart. She learned how to manipulate her husband, how to get him to take potions that would cause him to pass out or to calm him. She’d often welcome him taking on mistresses, though she quickly found out that he was the only one in the relationship to do such a thing. If she were to take on a lover she would be scorned. So she did so in secret, enchanting any who would potentially find out.

When her sister was finally to be wed to the heir she was happy and scared all at the same time. She feared her sister would be subjected to the same treatment as her, but she was also happy to have her closest friend and relative living under the same roof as her again. So when the news came of the ship going missing Brenna was devastated. She heard of the king commanding a ship to go search for her and she quickly hatched a plan to join them. With some manipulation and magic she soon found herself aboard the Avalon Avenger.
