It was clear her rejection of his plan had displeased Geralt, but Ivory didn't care. She was willing to accept to work with him for the sake of the show, but he would not allow her to do whatever he wanted with her act. She was willing to accept ideas from him as long as they were more.. equal in the attention both sides were given.

Honestly this was a good opportunity for her to be able to learn what he could do.
