Clear skies were nice, and there were no real problems in traffic to worry about, beyond the usual afternoon congestion, which was easy enough to avoid by taking to the side streets. The drive was quiet beyond the radio chatter, and they progressed at a fast, if legal, speed, soon arriving at the allocated parking lot for entering this particular forest. Few cars were present, and the bespectacled Hunter backed in with one smooth turn of the steering wheel. Sorano was certainly a competent, if perhaps excessively vigilant , driver, constantly checking all three mirrors as she drove, even when it was clear at a glance that there were no other vehicles on the road. She stepped out soon after, waiting for the others to exit as well. The train probably arrived at the stop faster, but the car stopped close enough to the entrance of the forest that the difference was more or less negligible. Grabbing a couple packages from the back of the Jeep, Sorano secured them to her uniform, before locking the vehicle and marching off. Her schedule for eating her almond-cashew mix was off, but it was basically trail mix anyways, perfectly fine for eating while on a hike towards the monsters' den.
