She has a slightly curvy, athletic build and seemingly flawless, caramel-colored skin. She weighs in at a little over one hundred fifty-five pounds and stands at five feet, eight inches tall in flats. Dionne carries herself elegantly with good posture, long confident strides, and her head held high. Due to this and her occasional use of high heels, she often looks taller than she really is. The young woman also has over twenty tattoos; her most easily visible ones cover both of her arms and hands, her chest, and even her face. As far as piercings go, she currently only has her earlobes and nose pierced. In her own words, when it comes to her fashion sense, Dionne "dresses like a little boy." Her style can best be lumped in with street wear fashion; she loves wearing over-sized shirts/jerseys, and has a very large sneaker collection. in contrast, she also loves striking makeup; her everyday glam includes thick eyeliner, bold lashes, brown lip-liner, and bright red lipstick to match her nails. She was a foster child... always temporary, always on the move; "A runner" was what they called her since she never could stay in a home for more than five months without packing her things and attempting to run away. The police would always catch her before she could get too far, but that never stopped her from trying again. And again. And again. Although being born in the Bay Area, Dionne spent the majority of her life in East Los Angeles. She was the fourth born of five children, all of whom ended up in foster care when their single mother decided that she loved drugs more than she did her own kids. Dionne was five years old when she was placed into her very first foster home, and six when she decided that she'd try to find her way back to her mother while everyone else was sleeping. By the time she turned fourteen, she'd stayed in over eight different homes, none of them wanting to deal with such a "troublesome" child. Dionne finally ceased her antics when she was fifteen years old; her mother had been found dead in the apartment of one of her neighbors. As she grew older and began to transition into high school, Dionne decided to take on a new hobby and try out for the track team. It didn't really come as much of a surprise to anyone when she made Varsity. It also didn't come as a surprise when the young woman received a full ride scholarship to a university in Atlanta four years following. Although hesitant to leave her siblings behind, Dionne was eager to spend some time out of New York for the very first time and chase her dreams. Unfortunately, Dionne's dream was pretty short-lived. After sustaining a career ending injury during her junior year, Dionne was forced to put away her running shoes and look for a new passion. This realization eventually pushed her into a state of depression, which then led to her dropping out of college and moving again; this time, she wound up moving back to New York City. Fast forward a few years later, and Dionne had made a pretty good life for herself. She'd secured a job as a bartender at one of the well known Coyote Ugly saloons, a tattoo apprenticeship, a decent enough apartment, and even a (short-term) girlfriend. So what brought Dionne Lovett to Santa Clara? Honestly, she didn't have a clue. Maybe she grew tired of staying in one place for too long, and decided that a change in scenery would be best for her. Maybe she wanted to experience warm weather nearly year-round. Who knows?
EXTRA: Kehlani Parrish | #BE4725
